Rosemary, is a woody, perennial herb native to the Mediterranean region.
They have a bitter, astringent taste and a characteristic aroma which complements sauces, soups and stews. Used as a rub for roasting poultry, meat (especially lamb), veal or fish.
Mince or crush the leaves before sprinkling over or rubbing into dishes.
Rosemary is useful for improving digestion
