Japanese Kuromai (Black Rice) made in Kikuchi, Kumamoto which is an area known for the cultivation of rice.

This rice is carefully grown and harvested in the Kikuchi River Basin, an area that has been highly evaluated and certified as a Japanese Heritage Area, as black rice has been cultivated there since ancient times.

Nurtured with pure underground water, clean organic farming methods, and subjected to zero residual pesticides, this kuromai black rice really is nature’s gift. Packed with 29 types of important nutrients like vitamins and minerals, adding a little black rice to your diet goes a long way for your overall health. 

You can simply add 1 tablespoon (15g) of Kuromai (or more) to your white rice as you cook it.
