Grace Authentic Oxtail Marinade (Rabo de Res)

Ingredients

Water, Brown Sugar, Green Onion, Distilled Vinegar, Modified Corn Starch, Salt, Natural Flavor, Caramel Color, Scotch Bonnet Pepper, Spices, Onion Powder, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate (as Preservative), Citric Acid.

Directions

Oxtail Cooking Directions: 1. Shake bottle well and pour 2/3 of the grace oxtail marinade over 1kg/2lbs of oxtail pieces. Rub marinade into meat and let sit for 1 hour; 2. In a saucepan, add 2 tbsp of oil and heat. To the heated oil, add oxtail pieces and brown evenly; 3. Add 4 to 6 cups of water to meat and cook in a covered pot on low flame for approx. 3 hours, until meat is tender (Method Note: Pressure cooker, will reduce cooking time to less than half & no need to add water); 4. Add the remaining marinade and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
