Ground ‘Alleppy’ Turmeric also known as ‘Curcuma’ or ‘Haldi’, is a rhizome that is grown in Kerela state of India. It gives dark yellow color, has more richer and earthy flavor than Madras turmeric, slightly aromatic & bitter taste.

Used in cooking to add color as well as its flavor in most recipes including Indian curries, North African cuisines and spice blends.
