The Scotch Bonnet chili pepper is one of the hottest peppers known to man. It has a heat rating of 350,000 Scoville Units, hotter than most habaneros (325,000 Scoville Units) and extremely hot compared to most Jalapeño peppers ( 2,500 to 8,000 Scoville Units).

Use great caution when handling these peppers because of their heat, be sure to wash your hands and do not rub your eyes or nose.
