Safflower (Osfor) Petals (Carthamus tinctorius L.)

Safflower the yellow orange pigment of an annual herb, used to add earthy flavor and light orange color to food, and sometimes as a substitute for saffron. Also used to make tea has a strong, but pleasant taste, can help soothe nerves and relax, strengthening immunity, facilitates bowel movement, helps lower cholesterol levels and control blood sugar.*

To make Tea: Add 1tsp safflower in a cup of hot water (190-205ºF), steep for 3-5min, strain, sweeten with honey, drink
