Fu is Japanese wheat gluten that is similar to seitan. It has an abundance of protein and is made from wheat and gluten only, so it is a vegan-friendly food.
This product has more volume than its conventional kuruma fu counterparts. As a result, it has greater volume, has a meatier texture, and can absorb more soup and dashi.
