This organic hojicha tea powder from Harimaen is an exceptionally high quality Japanese roasted green tea that is extremely versatile and easy to prepare.
This delicious powdered tea is made by harvesting organic green tea from Kyoto Prefecture and carefully roasting it, reducing the caffeine content and imparting it with a delicious nutty flavor, before carefully grinding it in an iron mill.
This fragrant tea dissolves very easily, making it ideal not just for drinking, but also for baking into sweets and other foods.
Place 1 teaspoon of tea powder (approx. 1g) into a teapot and add 100ml of hot water. Rotate the teapot around roughly 30 times to stir the tea, then pour into cups as desired.
Add milk and sugar to make a tasty hojicha latte, or add to cakes, pancakes, muffins or other baked goods for a rich, toasted flavor.
