Epazote is a popular Mexican herb, has a strong pungent odor and strong taste, slightly bitter with a faint lemony notes.
Mostly added to soups, salsas, stews and bean dishes.
It is best added to the end of the cooking process. Use 1 tsp per pound of dried beans.
Epazote is a carminative (reduces gas) and prevent Flatulence.
