THE STORY BEHIND THE TEA:
It’s my birthday month, so I didn’t mind being a little selfish by picking some of my favorite fall favorites this month. This trio of flavor notes is inspired by a trip to Austria, which is known for delicious flavors (both tea and desserts).
I’ve combined the classic apple cinnamon notes of autumn with another one of my favorite fall notes, pear. You can get them here in the states but in Austria they also have these wonderful pear dumplings, that add a rich caramelized note – which I thought would also be perfect with the apple cinnamon.
I love this blend for a fall latte or even an autumn iced tea with splash of milk or sweetener to really round it out.
